GP Demand

Test Results

Please telephone for test results between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday on 01292 671444.

Home Visits

Please make every effort to come to the Surgery as this gives the Doctor more time and better facilities to deal with your problem.   If you are too ill to attend the Surgery it is helpful if you can telephone your request for a home visit as early as possible in the morning, ideally before 9.30am.

Cancelling Your Appointment

Unfortunately, we continue to have a number of patients failing to attend appointments, which has an adverse affect on appointments available for other patients. If you are unable to attend an appointment, it is important to let reception know.  We thank you for your co-operation in this respect.

Covid-19 Pandemic information

Flu / COVID Booster Vaccinations

This year, the Health Board have asked the practice to administer flu vaccinations alongside COVID booster vaccinations to patients over 80 years only.  Patients are currently being appointed.

Patients aged 70-79 and those classed as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable are currently being invited to appointments at local Mass Vaccination Centres to receive their COVID Boosters and Flu Vaccines. This will continue until approximately mid-November. If you are in this age group, and have not received an invitation to attend a Mass Vaccination Centre by 16th November 2021, please contact the local appointing team on 01563 826540

For all other patient groups (out with the 70-79 and clinically extremely vulnerable groups), who are eligible for Flu Vaccine and/or COVID Booster, you will also be invited to attend a Mass Vaccination Centre throughout November and December. Patients will be invited for vaccination in priority order by age and high risk category and will receive an appointment letter in a blue envelope at the appropriate time

Covid Vaccination Status

Please see below the link to the Scottish Government website for information on how patients can now access their vaccination status without the need to contact their GP Practice:https://www.gov.scot/news/covid-19-vaccination-status-scheme-launches/

Patients will be able to access their covid 19 vaccination status online by logging on to: www.nhsinform.scot/covid19status

For those patients unable to access the information online they can call the Freephone covid status helpline to request their vaccination status which will be sent to them in the post.  The Freephone number is 0808 196 8565.
